SUBMISSION RULES

WINTER 2025

  1. The film must be submitted until the end of the 8th of March 2025.
  2. The film must be animated.
  3. the film must have a story, of any sort.
  4. The film can have any duration, genre and style, and be made in any technique, as long as it majorly classifies as animation.
  5. the film must relate to the proposed theme, which in this edition is BUG.
  6. Anyone, from anywhere in the universe, of any age, can submit.
  7. Group submissions are accepted.
  8. The film must have a title card and credits.
  9. Original works produced intentionally for the festival are preferred, but films that fit the theme and criteria may also be submitted.
  10. Works of commercial/advertising purposes will be reviewed but probably not accepted.
  11. All selected submissions will be screened at the festival’s screening and award ceremony, which will be held in Porto, Portugal, on the first weeks of April 2025.
  12. All submissions might be screened at other pocket version events of Tiny Man all over the world.
  13. No sort of harmful, abusive and offensive material will be allowed.
  14. All submissions can opt on allowing their videos to be publicly shared on Tiny Man’s social medias and other communication channels for promotional and non-commercial purposes, with all due credit, of course.
  15. The film should be in Full HD (1920×1080), H.264 (.mp4 or .mov).
  16. The film must be submitted to submissions@tinymanfest.com with the subject “Tiny Man Winter 2024 submission” and include the filmmaker(s) name(s).
